Incomprehensible voice

Though a mother tongue English speaker I signed up to English from French mainly to practice translating into French in immersion. But I have also done some of the excercises and find that the voice in listening excercises is sometimes almost or totally incomprehensible. I don't know how anyone who is trying to learn English from scratch could make anything of it at all. ~Example - module on work and occupations. Type what you hear in English. I click on normal speed the voice says "Goodbye" I realise that can't be right so click on slow speed. The voice says "Tha guy". Making what I can of this I type "The guy" Wrong! Apparently the answer is "The guard".

You can actually turn off the listening exercises for the English course. That way you will have more of translation exercises.
