When there are already two translations for a sentence, we can see the previous versions while we are doing our edit.

When there is only one translation so far, we can't see that one while doing our edit. This makes it awkward to write the comment explaining our change.

If I really care about adding a comment, I'll edit>copy my comment, cancel, look at the first comment, edit again, paste my comment again, and then write the explanation. If I really really care about the explanation, I open the translation in a new tab so I can see the original at the same time as my edit.

Glad to see you took my advice, now some of us have an immersion discussion. This should really help putting the comments in that you fail to put in the comment box.
