Are "onkel" and "tante" used much or is it usually morbror, farbror, moster, faster?

Today in my uni Danish class I learned that morbror, farbror, moster, faster are only for blood related aunts and uncles. Onkel and tante are only used for non-blood relatives.

Any time you say morbror, farbror, moster or faster, you can also say onkel/tante.

Onkel/tante is also used for the spouses of your morbror, farbror, moster and faster.
