I said "take" because we actually say that in English. "I take my breakfast in bed."
As it says"mon petit-dejeuner", should we not say "my breakfast"? Also, should "eat" not be "manges" rather than "prends"?
I understand 'prends', I think that's just a way it's said in French. But yeah, if the phrase uses mon surely it should be 'my'. That's quite annoying.

'Eating normally' sounds like someone's anamnesis. A comma here and there would not be too unwelcome
"Prends" is actually correct. (According to my French teacher), you can "mange" food, but when it comes to meals, you "take" them. Only animals "mange" their dinner. Even she said it was a bizarre rule
