Bug in Flirting?
A few times now, when I've been learning my 'flirting' skills I've been asked to translate the same sentence over and over again. Last time, I was asked the same question THIRTEEN times in a row!! Are the people at Duolingo aware of this?
On the plus side, I am now very confident saying "Is it hot in here or is it just you?" in French.
FYI: contributors to the courses (in the incubator) reported this issue directly to Duo too.
I have experienced this same problem, only in Spanish. Perhaps Duolingo ran out of sentences to give you?
I have bugs on my real life flirting skills, I have reported this to duolingo but it hasn't improved despite of that.
Yes, I had this same issue in both flirting and idioms for French. I got one idiom at least a dozen times, though I can no longer remember which it was. And I didn't even get it wrong at the time. I seem to remember encountering the same problem with the Spanish Christmas bonus skill last year too. It seemed worse than the usual amount of repetition that I get in strengthening exercises.
I just finished my idioms and had the some problem. I've read that the staff is more likely to see it in a report rather than the discussions, so I used the report link. Also, the flirting lines were radio carbon dated and found to be from the 1950's.
maybe you should refresh the page and start over. or, sometimes your computer is malfunctioning. This has never happened to me. :) you probably should contact the DL team......:)
I got exactly the same problem in French and a lot of my other lessons so idk wat duolingo is doing about it
I have experienced the same problem, but it wasn't as extreme as yours. 13 times is a lot!
Same here, so annoying. I had the sentence 'are you a model' about 10 times! I feel sorry for you. If you really want to know more search flirting in french.
It's likely because the settings of the Duo Classroom you belong to has this Bonus Skill turned off.
I've had the same problem some weeks ago and I do not belong to any classroom.
I'll be buying Duolingo flirting in French soon. I've got the Spanish one though and yes, it does repeat the questions quite a lot. This can be annoying but maybe Duolingo is doing this on purpose so if you do use these flirting phrases you won't screw up and make a fool of yourself or they just ran out of quesions it could be either or both :)
