I click to begin my lesson, the screen is empty. I hear the recording, but there's nothing written on the screen, nowhere to type etc. Has anyone else got this problem?

Hi amritkapoor,

Sorry I have no answer myself but you could move you question into the "Troubleshooting" forum where it's more likely to have more and better answers than in the forum about the course of Spanish for English speakers.

To move your discussion, edit the original post (the one on top of this page) then there will be a button around the top-left part of the discussion page (not in the blue band, under) that displays a drop-down menu where you can select the adequate forum.

What have you tried yourself? Did you try other browsers? Is the rest of the website (still) working ok? Is it a recent problem? Or has it always been present?

Are there any plug-ins that you have installed for Safari or any updates? Maybe one of those things messed it up. Regarding the plug-ins you could probably see if there are any updates for them or try to disable them to see if any of them causes the problems. Do you have any other issues with the website or is it purely when you want to do a lesson?

No problems here with Safari 7.1

Try another browser?
Clear your cache/history?
Close/re-open the browser?

Bummer. Duo uses tons of Flash. Maybe a flash extension or plug-in or add-on or....

But that's what I'd focus on first, is how Safari is dealing with all things flash. Disable everything that's not basic Safari and see how it goes.
