One of the suggested answers has a spelling mistake. "Wihtout knowing, no understanding" -- the h and t in Without are transposed.
My preferred translation would be "Without knowledge, no understanding."
I was corrected from "knowledge" to "knowing". I would prefer "knowledge".
I don't think this is meant as A implies B. My translation would be "Without knowing, without understanding", like stating two facts that reinforce each other.
Can it be "No learning, no understanding"?
