My third tree is completed.
Yesss I did it, after working hard almost every day i finally finished my italian tree completing half of my goal to learn 4 languages this year. After Spanish and Spanish reverse tree it was my third owl on duolingo! I am going to start reverse tree of Italian, but i know only Duolingo is not enough to become fluent so if you have any suggestions how to improve it i will be very happy to know! I will keep working on Swedish to complete it either!
Thank you Duolingo!
Great job! That shows some serious dedication. Do you feel confident enough to carry on a conversation in Spanish? Also, did you use only Duolingo, or have you used outside resources to boost and enhance your learning experience?
Thank you ! i am already able to hold basic conversations both in Spanish and Italian, this is what keeps me motivated and inspired to continue all these things. i wanted to start practicing Italian from Spanish months ago but i didnt do, now i will try it aswell. i have still used only Duolingo this is why i really need other resources too, but talking with my Italian pen friends helps me a lot !
Have you tried laddering yet? If not, it might be fun. You try to learn Italian as a Spanish speaker, which would be a good test of how well you can switch your brain from language to language.
You can sign up on the Golden Owl Hall of Fame, if you didn't already! A suggestion I have to become more fluent, is use a website called WeSpeke. It is a website where you can talk to native speakers of almost any language. So if you're a native English speaker, then you put English as your native language, and Italian or Spanish as your learning language. Then the site finds people that are trying to learn English and they are native speakers of Italian or Spanish. Then you can talk to them and help each other improve on each other's writing and reading. And then you also have the option to use Audio or Video, so you can learn how to listen/speak in that language.
If both of you want to learn how to write, then you should type in Italian/Spanish and the other person in English.
If both of you want to learn how to read, then you should type in English and the other in Italian/Spanish.
If both of you want to learn how to speak, then you should speak in Italian/Spanish and the other in English.
If both of you want to learn how to listen, then you should speak in English and the other in Italian/Spanish.
Congratulazioni and buena suerte!
i appreciate your help ! i didnt sign up yet, i actually first time hear about it , i will do soon. English is not my native language but i learn everything from English as my native language doesnt exist in duolingo.
Then with some luck, you can find someone who speaks Italian/Spanish and wants to learn Armenian. (I looked at your profile and I saw you were from Armenia so I assumed you spoke Armenian as your native language.)
Congratulations my armenian friend ! btw my cousins are half armenian :D Italian is one of my weakest languages that's why I do immersion so much and translate stuff. I can't find motivation to pursuit my eighth owl from dutch .. so much work already learning more from the completed languages
Great Friend!! well done but for me it looks strange that you complated the tree while you are in level 6 out of 25
Hello, congratulations... I have the same idea, but my goal is learn English (I speak spanish), My goal is finish the Italian Tree from English and then reverse... This way I learn English (my really goal) and learn Italian too, like a bonus!!!
Sorry, I'm a new duolingoer, but what is a tree, in the context of completing one on duolingo?
May have already been asked but, how well do you feel you know Italian since starting? I'm one week in using both Duolingo and Memrise and I feel like I could go to Italy and at least ready everything.
I have been having difficulty where each time i log on to the app or on my computer, it starts me off at lesson one. has anyone else had this issue and have an suggestions on how my progress can be saved? thank you!
