Online Swedish Games?

Does anyone know any online game(s) or gaming sites that are designed to help you with your Swedish. I know when I took French in school they had some of those games and they really helped me. Thanks for any help.

If you're into creativity, Minecraft. There's probably infinite Swedish-speaking servers. I've found many Dutch and German servers. It's kinda nice to read the chat, you'll pick up on a lot. It'll help your writing a lot & your language skills if you try to ask questions and explain things.

Cool. No one there would speak anywhere near perfect grammar though, right? Or is that just with English that there's so much slang?

No, they're native speakers so their grammar is as good as we're typing right now. English has a lot more slang than other languages. Dutch also has a lot but it's easy to learn and you need to know it anyway. :P

In that case, do you have the ip or whatever of a good server?

One recommendation I found on a blog post (which I have since lost the link to) is to play Euro Trucker 2 in Swedish. According to the post, since it is a trucking simulation game that has you driving all over Europe, you will be exposed to all kinds of common places and items, along with visual cues to their meaning. I haven't tried it yet, although I certainly will in a few weeks. Steam has the Deluxe version (with expansions into Russia and Scandinavia).

I have ETS2 and the Scandinavia expansion and it's really nice to drive around Sweden and such but playing it first for a while in English then switching the whole games language to Swedish was a whole new ballpark! You learn a lot of new words that DL doesn't provide that are linked to trucks and general motoring and all sorts, I regularly switch back and forth between English and Swedish.
