Para vs. Por

The following link is a pretty good summary of when to use Para and when to use Por

There are many good videos and songs explaining para and por on YouTube. I will continue to read and re-read explanation until I really get it. Another way to really get used to the differences is to read/listen to Spanish daily.

Thanks for the link.

Thanks! This has been bothering me for weeks.

This is my favorite por/para resource.
I love how it helps you get a feel for when to use each word instead of just listing rules to memorize.

Muy clara y util, gracias.

Yes, that is a pretty good resource as well. Lightspeed spanish podcasts were my popular podcasts even before I started with Duolingo. I did listen to all of their episodes (of all levels).

This is a good video, but they don't have the information printed anywhere. After watching it and their example of getting groceries for the mother, which didn't have a direction, I changed my "it is enough for her" answer to por but then it was missed. It would be nice to see those guidelines in print, preferably in less than a minute without having to watch the entire video.
