Grrr. . . no streak

Last night I had a 14 day streak. Tonight I logged on at 9:05 and my streak is gone. I'm back to 0 and there is a message - Sorry you lost your wager. I was trying to double my lingots with a 7 day streak. This is not the first time this has happened - it's the 3rd time. Come on!

If you go to www.duolingo.com/users/(your username) you will see a lot of code like raw HTML. Search that page for 'timezone' and you will see which timezone Duo thinks you were in when you created your account. If you are in a different timezone now, that could explain your problem. Duolingo does not provide a way of changing this but I believe there is a user script which lets you do it. I cannot remember where it is but perhaps someone will provide a link for you.
