How to promote translations work

I run the website for a non-profit and I submitted two URLs for translation but they are not getting translated very quickly. It is been a few days already and only 4/44 lines are translated on on of them.

They don't show up under the "New" tab, they don't show up under "Popular" so how can users "discover them? Shouldn't there be a category like "oldest and in most need of translation"? Not that mine would show up there right away, but I think there needs to be some new discovery mechanisms.

Actually I'm a bit confused why it is not showing up under "new" as there are many others there that are older than mine.

I'm not certain, but I believe each of us only sees material written in the language we are working on. So, for example, I would only see your submissions if they are in German. Could that be why you don't see them?

I'm in "French" mode right now and I'm seeing documents that are written in French and need to be translated to English (which is the case for my uploads). But I'm not seeing mine under "New" and it was uploaded yesterday apparently (which must be based on UTC or something, but it my time zone, I actually uploaded it 2 days ago, on Wednesday).

Sorry, that's all I could think of. You might try the Support tab, otherwise wait until a staff member sees this.

Wow, I can't believe how wrong I was... the translations I see are documents in French that need to be translated into English (because I am learning French). The document I uploaded was in French and it needs to be translated to English (so it will only be visible to those who are learning English and know French).
