Translation:Tannkrem er en slags krem for å pusse tennene.

Shouldn't this be "Tannkrem er en slags krem til å pusse tenner med." instead (cf. http://no.wiktionary.org/wiki/tannkrem)? Also, could I use "å børste" instead of "å pusse"?


You're sentence should be a valid alternative. Both are correct.

You could not use "børste" for teeth. "Børste" is most commonly used for hair.


It’s not at all unheard of to say “børste tenner”. It might depend on dialect.
