Problems with logging time.

I have been having problems with Duolingo. After working on a 10 min. section is doesn't record my progress. The computer seems to freeze on the last item. Happened again today. It has happened at least 3 times this week. I am getting frustrated with Duolingo and looking for another app to use. Any suggestions?

Hmmm...that is weird, that doesn't ever happen to me. I have never had any problems with duolingo, so I am sure that it cannot be [all] duolingo. Maybe your computer is malfunctioning, maybe it is old? Maybe DL doesn't work well with your type of computer? Is your computer a windows? I wouldn't quit Dl just because you are frustrated with it. DL is one of the best language resources out there and I wouldn't waste it like that. My Mac is new and this problem just started. Perhaps you are right that it doesn't work well with the Mac. I do appreciate the help and have contacted Duolingo support.

I suspect this works best as an app on my iphone/ipad and not on the laptop. Still looking for answers. I prefer typing on my laptop.

I work on a MacBook Pro laptop using Safari and after 1 1/2 years of keeping two trees gold through daily practice, I can report that I've only twice had the problem you mention. Have you tried closing your browser and/or rebooting your computer?
