I have finished my spanish tree
So, this is my 54th day and I have finished my spanish tree? Is that it all? I mean, that's all the spanish grammar I need to learn?
After finishing the tree most people finish with an A2, B1 level ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_European_Framework_of_Reference_for_Languages ). That would mean you have a good base of the language, but have still lots to learn.
I am a Spanish native speaker and my experience reading the Spanish of the people who have finished the tree is that their grammar is quite good, but there are little errors here and there (although they are completely understandable by me).
There's also the "Immersion" section, where you can translate articles. If you want to continue learning Spanish, I'd recommend translating articles from "Immersion", watching movies and songs in Spanish, having a pen-pal and other possible uses of the language.
Thanks for the advice and the link paradoja. I know that finishing the spanish tree on dualingo is just a small step toward the more complex paths of the spanish language. I've only been exposed to language for under two months. Never learn the spanish before :) I am very fascinated by structure of the language and intimidated by those horrendous word conjugations :) I've watched a few of spanish movies on Youtube and I could only capture 10 to 20% of the conversations throughout the movies, so yes there's still a lot to learn.
Once again thanks for the encouragement. Cheers!
hey, congratulations, I am dominican and I would like to speak english with you and you can speak spanish with me too.
what do you think?
Thank you Manuel. That would be great. I would love to make conversations with native speakers. But I am not a native english speaker. I am Indonesian and English is my second language, so don't expect much from my english :)
Congratulations! At least now you can put your Spanish to the test :) hahaha watch a movie :)
Thank you Ria, I hope you'll finish yours soon. I don't have the gut to test them yet. And for the movies, native Spanish speaker speaks faster than I imagined, especially those of Latin America, they speak very rapidly and I felt like I was listening to some aliens from outer space :)
