What is the use of que in this sentence?
"Pendant que" together are a phrase that means "while". Que does not have an individual role in the sentence but merely acts in conjunction with pendant.
oh another while, along with alors and tandis :)
does it also come in two contexts, as these two do - temporal and relational?
so pendant is 'during', pendant que is 'while' ?
They need to include "que" as part of "pendant" when peeking.
I translated the fragment as "during which we eat". It is marked as wrong.
Anyone got any thoughts on that?
out of all the sentences in the world, i sure wish duo would pick less fragmented and non-sensical ones. :)
