I would prefer to say field hockey over just hockey. Because hockey mainly refers to ice hockey instead

It all depends on where you are. In the U.S. or in Canada yes, however it hockey can also refer to fieldhockey: http://www.oxforddictionaries.com/definition/english/hockey

Since it can refer to ice hockey in some countries ijshockey is now accepted for the English to Dutch translation. Though as in the "Dutch word" hockey only refers to field hockey the Dutch to English translation cannot be translated as ice hockey, field hockey is now accepted for that though: http://www.vandale.nl/opzoeken?pattern=hockey&lang=nn#.VXIcktKqqko

No, it's an accepted answer. Without any more information on the exercise etc. I cannot tell you why it was not accepted. Though a typo might be the cause.
