Zij zien elkaar aan het station, ze zien elkaar (ze ontmoeten elkaar) aan de kerk... Isn't that correct Dutch? Ze zien elkaar AAN het station=aan de buitenkant van het station.(at the outside, not in). Must be excepted I believe.

No, you can't meet 'aan'. That's not correct. If you want to say that they meet outside, you can say 'Ze zien elkaar bij het station'. :)

Hi Merrie, thank you so much for marking the matter of the right preposition.In the Netherlands they use BIJ indeed, 'aan' is a Belgian dialectic form I suppose, and I should try to get rid of it! Nice to meet you, however!
