Dreaming in Irish!

I had a dream where some people were saying things (in what I am assuming is) Irish. Weird because I have been studying Espanol a lot more. Has this ever happed to you?

Possibly a sign of that you are getting some Irish sentence patterns and/or vocabulary into your long-term memory perhaps? I don't know, but it is interesting. Maybe you should try to relax a bit with your Spanish for a few days, just to see if you begin dreaming in Spanish. If you do, you could at least make a few inductive statements regarding intensity of studies and subconscious activity. I won't do that for you, however. ;)

I don't usually remember my dreams, but when I do, I think I mostly dream in Italian. I'm not sure, because maybe it is just the fact that I analyze the dream in Italian. Who knows?

Dream infiltration is so fun. It hasn't happened to me in Irish (I'm only barely paddling in it after all) but I've had it a few times with Swedish and I always feel so triumphant upon waking ehehe.

Yes. In my dream I was trying to find my wife, and started a conversation with a Gárda by saying, "Cá bhfuil mo bhean chéila?" we didn't talk for long, but it would have been more fun if I had my wife with me.

My wife advises, that speaking in sleep I am fluent in four different languages, depending on the daytime language. To the degree, that I correct her language errors in my sleep, when she tried to humour me and to answer in the same language. That did make her furious, trying to follow my lead and being slapped for it.

First time I was aware of changing language in dreams I took it as a sign of knowledge of language. Wouldn't take that for Irish yet.
