You will never see "ces sont". "Ce sont" is the plural of "c'est" and both are very fixed locutions.
By the way French people usually say "c'est" instead of "ce sont" which is allowed when speaking (but sounds a bit familiar).
i dont fully understand c'est and ce. when you want to say "she is my wife" shouldn't it be "elle est mon femme"? no "c'est mon femme" because c'est means it? doesnt c'est mom femme mean "it is my wife"
