I don't understand what 'cabin' means in this situation

"Hytta" is a sort of vacation house usually located in isolated places in the mountains, close to a lake or something. Usually they are small and they can be without electricity and running water. In English is translated with "cabin".

It would be better to use the term "Hut", which is much closer to "hytta," in German =Hütte. The closest term in Am. English could be log cabin.
