Hi. Does that mean emotionally or physically?

It could mean either, though if I meant it in the emotional sense I think I'd have opted for using "vi" rather than "jeg...deg", to emphasise the unity.

"Vi er nær hverandre." eller bare "Vi er nær."?

Hei, Do you mean : "Vi er nær"? Or is there another more idiomatic phrasing you're referring to here?

Tusen takk, I really appreciate your many comments in the norsk course. I have greatly benefited from several of them. I do appreciate your time and work.

I'm not understanding why "jeg er naer til deg" is wrong. It's the "til" that I'm questioning.

We wouldn't use a preposition in this case.

Think of how we don't need a preposition with near. "near the bus", "near you"

I can understand that we dont need the preposition, but why is it not an accepted answer? To my mind, it appears to be the more literal translation unless it is not correct norsk. Can someone explain if "Jeg er nær til deg" is improper?

I wrote "med deg," but it is wrong. But would it be right if it was intended emotionally?
