Latino music artists?

Hola! I'm learning Spanish, or more so re-learning Spanish and I had a question for those of you learning, or fluent in, as well. I find listening to music really helps with my pronunciation and memorization of Spanish words. And, as much as I love mariachi, I'd like some more variety. I know an R & B artist Frankie J sings some of his songs in Spanish, as well as a popular pop artist in Latin America Matt Hunter Correa, Daddy Yankee is a popular rap artist... See where I'm getting at? My question is, do you know any music artists that sing in Spanish? Any genera is really okay with me, I like a HUGE variety of music. Post some of your favorites if you know any, mucho gracias!

If you like mariachi music, have you listened to any of Alejandro Fernandez's pop music? Take a listen to Eres, Pecadora, and Canta Corazon. I'm in the process of memorizing the lyrics to Para Vivir by him because it has some interesting grammar.

Para olvidar me falta tiempo
Para llorar me sobra vida
y no habrá dolor más grande
Que no volverte a ver
Para esperar me falta fuerza
Para intentar me sobra fe
...
Me queda tanto para darte
Mi corazón, mi juventud
Pero a pesar de lo que tengo
Para vivir me faltas tú

Gloria Estefan, Ry Cooder, Santana, Shakira...

I think online radio is your friend here - why don't you look up some Spanish or South American radio stations and see if anything grabs you?

As a hispanic, I think you should use "hispanic" instead of "latino" if you mean only music in Spanish. Latin music includes portuguese, italian, french, etc.

I recommend you Enrique Bunbury, a spaniard singer:

I understand the difference between "Hispanic" and "Latino" but I am fluent in French and currently want to learn two other romance languages, so the use of "Latino" was intended but thank you, I should've mentioned all that haha Beautiful music, I really appreciate it!

I think this would come as news to the French.

It's a romance language, as many of the Latino languages (Spanish, Portuguese, ect...) are. When I used "Latino" it was to kind of group those together, figured people would recommend multiple language music artists. Of course the French aren't Latino haha But they're in the same category as many Latino languages (romance). Sorry for confusion, I should be more clear
