Does "larĝa" only refer to width? I wasn't sure, so I looked up words for wide, width, and broad, and it seems like "larĝa" only refers to width/broadness. Just wanted to check to be sure though, in case there's a more precise word to describe a wide table.


Yes, larĝa is width, longa is length, granda is size, and alta is height.


I think you could also use "dika" in maybe, a slang context!


Thick (dika) and wide (larĝa) are too different in meaning for that. If you are referring to a tree's width/diameter in a casual sense, then the distinction between the two words is less important.
