I don't get the reference! Is it a quote from a movie or a song?

It's a childrens' song: The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round; the wheels on the bus go round and round, all day long. The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish; swish, swish, swish; swish, swish, swish etc etc etc ad nauseam. :D

It's an American thing. I only know it from references on TV and in movies either.
