As much as these types of prompts help me remember which months are which, I think it would be more helpful to have questions like these in random month order? Like instead of "January February March April", do "June December January April" to make sure I'm actually paying attention

Missed opportunity to distinguish more clearly between June and July! English does that well, but German, Spanish and Dutch don't. Juno and julio would have been better.

Perhaps, but then a different word would have been needed for "young" ("juna")

Good point. Well, junio and julo then. Or junio and juleo. Or juino (< French juin) and julio.

Or go back to July's original name, Quintilis, so Esperanto kvintilio

I think the goal of Zamenhof was to make the months as close to Latin as possible. In Latin, they're iunius and iulius.

In Spanish they are: Mayo, junio, julio, agosto (always lowercase).

Mia vortaro diras, ke Aŭgusto estas "Augustus" en la Angla, kaj Aŭgosto "August."

Odd, i typed in august correctly, but its acting like i mispelled it, even though my answer and the 'correct' one are the same...

... including the English-uses-initial-uppercase-for-Months-and-Weekdays?
(i.e. the difference between English "August" and "august")
