I've never heard anyone say "all for late" in English. Wouldn't, "My son came home too late yesterday evening" work?
'all for late' is not accepted. Your sentence would mean "Sønnen min kom hjem for sent i går kveld", but this doesn't tell anything about how late that was.
Thanks. On the response it said I could have put all for late. So I thought that was kind of strange...
I går kveld translates to yesterday evening, so would forrige natt be an other translation for last night?
