Helpful Spanish Sources
I was looking for other Spanish sources and I found some other Spanish guides that build vocabulary for those who want more. Click Here
Another helpful one was this: Click Here These were all very helpful things with words and especially verbs and verb tenses.
- Tell me if you find any more sources and feel free to post them on the discussion page.
- Also, here are some helpful Spanish videos Click Here This is just one of the videos but all the videos called "El perro y el gato" are helpful.
have you watched Destinos? it's kind of a soap opera in Spanish, made by PBS specifically for learning Spanish. So it starts off slow with some English introduction but soon picks up and gets more challenging as it goes along. I found it really helpful for training my ear and moving to more complex expressions. It's dated (made in the late 80s) but still fun and has a story line that helps you to comprehend. you can view the videos (over 50 in the series) at http://learner.org/series/destinos/
Gracias-I made sure to bookmark each source. My wife who is from Mexico actually helped me (indirectly) find a good practice source. She watches "telenovelas" on our local Spanish station,so I put on the captions and practice away. I also found that unlike American soaps, telenovelas actually have meaning and an end. Anyways thank you again and have a nice Duolingo day.
I just clicked on some of the links in the Complete Spanish Guide site you referenced. Under Spanish Grammar heading, I clicked on Grammar and got a Home Depot page. Tried it again and got a religion page. Each time it went to a different commercial site of some kind, definitely not Spanish grammar.
I also was sent to broken links on almost everything listed on the site. Perhaps your browser has a virus?
I honestly don't know what you are talking about. They all took me to the right links and I have tried five times. I don't know how to check for viruses but, I will just send you the links. Here is one of them http://www.spanish4all.com/. Here is another http://studyspanish.com/tutorial.htm/ and finally https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eL7GanquAAY.
I tried the site again. I clicked on Spanish Grammar. Then under the Grammar section at the end of the sentence I clicked Visit the site. It opened ww1.nacnet.org. A list of 8 links to various religious sites. Tried it again and got directed to Crate and Barrel. Another time got a link to update my chrome browser immediately. My browser is the latest and I did not click the link. Weird. Maybe just me but I am staying away from this page. No other issues at all with my computer.
