seperate skill tree for travel

I would love to see a parallel skill tree for users who want to get some basic travel phrases in without learning any of the other intermediate vocabulary. I would use that tree for several languages.

I'd love to see this kind of feature too. Just to get some real life situations especially connected with traveling.

Very good idea! I just think that the Duolingo team wants to implement other things at the moment.

I love this idea. I am learning for a future trip, but do feel like I am learning a lot of words of dubious use (all that stuff about animals for example), without some more useful stuff like numbers or important travel questions such as "How much?" ;)

I think that would be a great idea too. If i go to italy I'm not exactly going to use the phrase "A snake eats the elephant" am I?
