Today's structure is Ojalá. This is not a verb but saying that came to Spanish from Arabic and originally meant 'May Allah ..." or "God willing". Today it can be translated as: "Hopefully" or "If only".

Structure:

Ojalá [que] {subjuctive}

Use of que is optional in this structure.

Example:

Ojalá que ella nos llame cuando llegue allí - Hopefully she calls us when she arrives there.

Note that actually there are two subjunctives in the above example. The second one is triggered by 'cuando'. cuando is a trigger as well when the subsequent clause is referring to the future.

Ojalá que

That is one of my favorite words in Spanish. I like all the Arabic influences on the language. :)
