I had to read this so many times before I was like "really? okay...." ding!

Which is great. These seemingly nonsensical sentences are great way to test our reading comprehension.

Me too, though I was still not sure if I got it right after it went green (which is why I'm here ;) )

The fox probably knows! (Although I'm not sure how they communicate.)

Probably by Morse

The horse probably wants to know where the bear got its beer.

Mia urso trinkas ĉion de lakto al biero. Mi traktas miajn bestojn tre bone, kiel reĝojn!

Pri la karoton la ĉevalo demandas de Wilbur

Would "the horse is asking about what?" suffice?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/arbaro

Yeah, it's just that the English is a bit informal. I'd report that. :)

well, it is a horse, after all, they tend not to stand on ceremony when speaking with humans.

Kiel oni diras, "A horse is a horse, of course, of course, And no one can talk to a horse of course That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister Ed.” en Esperanto?

Also please correct me if my grammar, over all, is not right!

For everyone wondering what is going on here: "Mister Ed" an American TV series about a talking horse, aired between 1961 and 1966. There are apparently a few baby-boomers leading Esperanto here!

Or those of us who grew up watching OLD rerun shows on the one small under budgetted rural tv station...

I don't care what the horse says! I don't listen to neigh-sayers.

"Kiel mi povas paroli?" la ĉevalo demandas.

Verŝajne kio estis en tiu punĉo...

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/tozierz

I'd like to know what the horse is asking about also. lmao

Would "Kio la ĉevalo demandas?" also be correct?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/BruceWegne

Would it be "Kion la ĉevalo demandas?"

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/KCZvzP

I loved this sentence! I read it and think, “My name is Mr. Ed.” So funny!

Mi: "cxu vi povas diri al min pri kio vi parolas?"

Cxevalo:"ne"

Mi:"cxu vi diras la anglan vorton 'neigh' aux nur 'ne'?"

Cxevalo:"gxis la revido" La cxevalo forkuras

The first time I encountered this, it was the audio and I had to replay multiple times to make sure I wasn't hearing things

Can't i say "What the horse is asking about"?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/DavidLamb53073

You are of course free to say it, but it is not good English. That particular order of words would be fine in a sentence such as "I don't know what the horse is asking about", but by itself, "What the horse is asking about" is not a complete sentence.
