Country music en espanol?

Hola everyone. I am a fan of North American country music and I was hoping to listen to a Spanish equivalent of it. I can only listen to Enrique Iglesias so many times. I have been listening to the Top 50 charts on of Spain, Mexico and Peru on Spotify but I would like to change it up a bit with some country music.

Gracias!

Hi there! I use Spotify to find new music. If you register, search for the account 'Spotify en espanol'. They have a lot of Latin American playlists--including an Indie playlist (https://goo.gl/om17E8) and a Country playlist (https://goo.gl/ghB8Xq). Overall, there are a lot of Artists on Spotify who sing in Spanish. I hope that this helps! :-)

I'm a fan of a playlist called 'Folky Chileno' as well, made by Spotify Chile, which has some other fun playlists as well. Most of these songs are a little like pop with a touch of indie-twang. May not be exactly like American country music but it's definitely a nice change from some of the more typical reggaeton-type stuff. There are also a couple of good playlists on Spotify en Espanol that mix Spanish with English songs.

Freddy Fender was a North American singer that did some music that was often considered country and used bilingual lyrics sometime. This was his big hit. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ay5ciplY4Pg
