For me, French is harder than these three languages.

But we are gonna get it. ^^

French is next on my list, but one language at a time. Lol

Once I'm done with Portuguese, and fluent for my job, French will be next, Portuguese is a little hard for me though.

I did Spanish for a year at Uni when I was doing my undergrad... Really enjoyed it, but didn't keep up afterwards so eventually lost interest. Visited Brazil last year so now I'm hooked on Portuguese! Some Brazilians told me that I should learn Spanish first and then Portuguese because it is harder and knowing Spanish will really help... but if you're finding it a little hard as a native Spanish speaker, then I guess I'm glad I went straight for Portuguese :)

I was told the opposite information from my Brazilian friends and online. If you can master Portuguese, then learning Spanish is really easy and can only take a dedicated person, 3 months to master.

However I think they are both very similar and it really just comes down to how quickly the person learning the language picks it up, and like anything, how much time you invest in it.

Goodluck!

I have studied French for a year while in college. I'm Brazilian and I speak Spanish, but not fluently, and I my first thoughts on French learning was (and still is) that French is kind of easy when you get the logic of their pronunciation. For me at least.

Onirisvalerio, i wish you good luck and will be following you on you journey :)

I am that right now. After French: german from Portuguese! I am currently also learning ( or should I say rehearsing) German from Spanish. I like the challenge a lot.

Yeah I'm having trouble putting some words together, but I'm kind of getting the hang of it. Because I speak Spanish, sometimes I assume the order of the words is the same.

I was planning on learning French after I've finished my Portuguese tree. The Portuguese -> French idea is one I might do myself!

Good luck, I am native portuguese speaker (brazilian) and my biggest challenge is without doubts the correlation among german, swedish and dutch since i'm trying to learn them all at the same time, i feel like i should slow down a bit.. if not i would end mad. And i guess my english currently is not that bad.

Are you learning all of the languages at the same time?
