Polish Learning Resources?
Has anyone found any good resources for beginners learning Polish? I would love to be able to learn on Duo, but I can't see that happening anytime soon, so I'm trying to hunt down some good resources.
Try Mondly. It's 20 dollars, but you can get it for free with the code "MONDLY". I didn't like it, but maybe you will.
Thanks for the code! I've tried Mondly too and wasn't a huge fan, but hey I might give it another try if it's free!
Go to the shop page and type it in the redeem code part at the bottom :)
I'm using Babbel at the moment and that's pretty good. It's not free though. There's a beginners Polish course on Memrise too so it might be worth checking that out.
I will definitely check out the Memrise course! Do you know how much Babbel is?
Can't remember off the top of my head because once I'd signed up for three months I got various emails with offers in, and ended up signing up for a year because it was cheaper! Depending on how long you sign up for I think it's only about £3-4 a month. You can go to their website and try a lesson from the course for free and look at the price options before committing anything and you can also cancel at anytime so it might be worth having a look.
ETA: You have to pay separately for each language so if you like what you see it might be worth signing up with one language and then waiting for some deals to come along which will give you cheap access to other languages.
Just checked into it and I think I'll try it out. Thank you for letting me know they offer it! It must be relatively new because I've checked into Babbel before and don't remember seeing Polish.
No problem. Because I was completely new to Polish I went through and did all the pronunciation lessons first to help me read what I was seeing, and then started with the first beginner course. Liking it so far.
I am working on a youtube channel, where I teach Polish language. You can check it out https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC51VV50h0zI7FxRMLdmTuaw
