I completed my tree. Thank you duolingo!

I just wanted to announce that I've completed my Spanish skill tree, it's not all gold (yet) however I'm very happy with my progress.

Also thank you duolingo for teaching me Spanish. I take Spanish classes in school and duolingo has helped me achieving the grade I aimed for.

Once again my sincere thanks to the fantastic creators and staff of duolingo!

Congratulations! I just a moment ago finished my first pass at the tree. It took 29 days and although I know a lot more Spanish than I did before I started (I knew nothing ;;), I have a long long ways to go. Anyway: Nice work.

I did the tree at (what's it called?) "maniac mode" or something, but probably spent 1 hour/day on it. The last bit of it was very easy, but the 3 before were very hard. Here we go again..

Thanks! Wow that's fast! Yeah me too I feel like I've forgot a lot of words and some didn't even stuck in the first place. Now we just have to get (and keep) everything gold.

Good luck!

A couple months ago I was in Havana for a couple of weeks. I managed to pickup a little bit of Spanish there and that was probably what got me interested in Duolingo. Thanks and I agree. We've got to keep going through the tree as well as read our 'target' languages books and talk to speakers. One time through was a good taste but just a little start for me. I have a long ways to go. -- Cheers.

Good job! I finished my tree a few months ago and start regilding from the top down. It took a while to chase all of the decaying skills. Don't get frustrated if you can't keep it gold every day. Just remember decaying skills isn't a punishment, but a way practice different skills on different days. I just returned to my tree again a few weeks ago and regilded it. Each time a return a pain point disappears. The first time I finished a constantly messed up the personal 'a', indirect object pronouns, and accent marks. These all feel more natural now.

Be sure to share you results as you move forward. You'll encourage those starting out and help those a step or two behind you.

Thank you! Yeah I try to see the decaying skills from a positive prospective as well. I've also had some problems with putting on accents and sometimes I just skip them since you can get a correct answer anyway. However I do think learning accents is important especially after learning Past Tense.

Good luck with your languages and happy learning!

Well not really however I'm able to understand most conversations as well as text and I'm able to speak fairly well. Definitely not even close to fluent although I'm happy with my progress.

¡Bien hecho!
