Hi, I use Duolingo with my classes; however, my students have done the update to their iPads, and they are having trouble remembering their usernames and passwords. Is there any way to make a group, where I could retrieve their usernames and passwords so that they don't have to re-create accounts. They cannot click on forgot passwords, because they cannot receive email from individuals/organizations outside of the district. Please help.
You can also contact the computer administrator that manages the e-mail server and ask for a temporary exception for the Duolingo mail server, to give permission to receive e-mails from "email@example.com".
Try to have their duolingo acc. linked to their fb accounts, If they're using their iPads and/or iPhones they'll probably have no troubles with that.
I assume and hope there is no way to retrieve passwords, even if one had full access to the user database, as passwords should be stored hashed and salted.
Yes but most systems offer a way for administrators to change the user password, with online services usually there is a link if you forget the password, they send you an e-mail to the address linked with the account, with instructions how to proceed.
