Transfer learning skills

As a German native speaker, I would like my french skills transfered from the setting "French/English" to the now available "French/German". Is there a chance that this kind of transfer will be possible at some point? I don't really want to start over new just in order to use German instead of English as the translating language. At the moment this is the case, though.

You can do the placement test and if you memorized the lessons properly, it should place you at pretty much the same point in the tree.

(Also... French for German speakers is no new thing! It has been available for at least a year and graduated from beta 5 months ago.)

Thanks, but that wasn't my question. I know about the placement test. It is equal to starting over new. Why should I not be able to keep the credits and levels, if I even have taken all of the tests in two languages that are not my mother tongue? Basically, I just wanna continue French in German rather than translating all the French into German and then to English again in my head. My English is okay, but I still make stupid mistakes in translation that wouldn't happen, if I were translating the French to German. It differs in my progress.

Because it's a different course, not just a translation of the English course (at least I think so - it would be a really bad course if it were). Some things might be in a different order or certain things might be addressed in a different manner (for example, grammatical genders aren't exactly breaking news to a native German speaker). So... It's impossible to map progress 1:1 between the courses. The placement test is as close as you get.
