I finished my Spanish tree
Yay, there I am!
I started duolingo two month ago with the goal to learn "a little" spanish as my company has a branch office/factory in Mexico. Due to the playful style of learning, I became addicted really quick.
I am amazed by the results you can achieve within such a short time in comparison of how long it takes to learn a language at school.
I am far from reading or writing, not even talking about conversation. Still, I am happy and will keep my tree golden while going through the reverse trees (I am native German).
I am grateful for being part of duolingo and this community. Thanks for everything :)
When i was two months on Duolingo, I couldn't writing anything in english... not even one phrase correctly!!! In fact, my first posts were only in spanish. Now i can understand a few and expressing my ideas relatively clear, at least writining them, and I'm trying to practice english everywhere and the majority of my comments in the forums are in english.
Duolingo is an actually smart tool for learning a lew language... improving my english just playing a few minutes every day for one year have allowed me to reach an enough level for using english... All my years in the school wasn't taught me english like this... thatś why I feel so happy, my reached goals are very impressive for me!
You can learn more and more every day! Just keep your practice, don't stop it!!! This community is amazing and here you'll find people who want to help you.
Good bye and i wish you all the best :)
Webnauta, Congratulations. That's real amazing. You write very good English.
That is great! You have progressed really far. I hope I will achieve the same and not loose motivation one day or another. Keep practicing, though your english is already quite good.
I hope duolingo will enhance their functions in the future. Something like ChatRoulette would be nice or Games. It could even be user created content.
Felicitaciones! Ahora, usted puede buscar para hablantes nativos de español! Puede hablar con ellos y mejorar tu español! Buena suerte!
Congrats! if you want we can speak spanish, i am learning english and deutsch, so, we can exchange our habilities!.
congratulations- I have only just started with duolingo although I studied Spanish when I was in high school for 2 years. I am also impressed by how quickly I am learning with brief practice daily and also find the program addicting. I am able to read Spanish quite well but my conversational skills are nil. I think I will have to seek out opportunities to be forced to converse in Spanish and need to listen to Spanish language television and radio.
That is awesome!! I just finished mine too :) I love it! We should start doing conversations online!
