Resources for new speakers
I'm a language-learner outside of Duolingo (studying it at university for >18 months), and something I've learned is that the bigger your community – your language learning circle – and the more resources you have, the better.
So, I've been collecting a few things to help, plus creating a Quizlet as I go through Duolingo. And I just wanted to share it with other people because I think that it might help some people (the Quizlet, I've found, is good for learning those verbs. I know I have the most trouble with them, currently).
I've also been uploading resources onto a secondary Google Drive account so other people can access it. This will be updated as I find more things, but I just wanted to share it now, too. There are, currently, a few children's books on there, however I'm uploading Harry Potter audiobooks, plus a few Disney films. These are mostly for listening practises (because Duolingo, imo, is very good at reading/writing, but not so much speaking/listening).
There's also a cool Chrome extension called Mind the Word, which changes a percentage of one language (for instance, English) into another (Like Norwegian). It's not infallible, but it's interesting and useful because it only has to be a small number, and it gives you words in-context. The words are high-lighted, so you can see the other-language, and all you have to do is click on it and it will change it back to English.
I'm very interested in language-learning, obviously.

Thanks a ton! Can't wait to listen to my all-time favorite (Harry Potter) in the future! :D
