How long until languages are released?

We are all so excited for this new release and milestone in Duolingo history. I can't express how excited I am to be apart of it.

Any idea on when the languages will be released?

Also, are emails being sent that are recruiting people to help contribute to the creation of new languages?

Would love to help in any way possible..

They say approximately by the end of this year. However, if we had more contributions for not only the languages offered but the languages people want incorporated on this site we might see things sooner than later.
