I don't think "a" has been mentioned before... I feel a bit cheated by this.
I put in "Nosotros no tocamos las mujeres" but it considered it as incorrect, can anyone tell me why?
the "las" would refer to a specific group of women, not the cessation of women in general.
I guess because it's not "the women" but I'm not completely sure
this phrase looks like "we, the women, do not touch (others)". shouldn't it be "no tocamos a las mujeres"?
So '(nosotros) tocamos mujeres' and '(nosotros) tocamos a las mujeeres' are both correct, but '(nosotros) tocamos las mujeres' is not? Please can someone explain this?
What is the "a" doing in the middle of the phrase.
why isn't nosotros in there?
