I wonder if "urbofumo" could be used to mean "smog" (although "smogo" would probably be better.)
Esperanto has a word for smog, fumnebulo (lit. smoke fog, similar to the way way smog came about in English! SMoky fOG). :)

What's the difference between 'malamas' and 'malŝatas'? Is 'malamas' a stronger word than 'malŝatas'?
ami = to love; ŝati = to like, so malami = to hate; malŝati = to dislike.
I wrote "I dislike the fumes of the city". My Esperanto dictionary, now I have looked, tells me that
"fumo" = "fume(s)". WHY does duolingo not accept my answer?
