I think I could learn faster if the sentences made more sense. I only had to type the Italian here, but I would have translated this as "let's go, let's get lost!"

Oh, that helps. Like, "let's lose it," let's forget it. Thanks again, Viaggiatore!

Andiamo = Let's go !
lasciamo = let's leave it !
perdere = to lose/misplace something

Let's go, let's leave it lost !! ~ Let's go, let's forget about it !!

Imperativo di Andare / Lasciare

tu . . . . vai, va'! . . . /. lascia!
Lei . . . vada! . . . . . /. lasci!
noi . . . andiamo! . ./. lasciamo!
voi . . . andate! . . . /. lasciate!
Loro . . .vadano! . . /. lascino!

Si', tranne lasciamolo

I agree. Some of the sentences are super bizarre.

Correct. Duo has work to do

"Come on, forget it!" is accepted.

Also makes more sense in English.

Since andiamo is the present tense as well as the imperative, wouldn't "We're going, let it go!" also make sense?

DL use the esclamation mark to distinguish imperative between present in Italian. Anyway you should understand wich it is from the context (on the other hand DL's sentences don't Always have sense).

A valid translation?

Nope . Was marked as wrong

I put that. It should be right.

"Lets go, leave it" DL didn't like this. Any thoughts people?

Doesn't make sense without context.

How would you say: "let's lose" then?...I know, it is not common to say this, but just imagine a situation where you have to lose at least "in appearance".

Come on, let's forget it!

Shouldn't it be andiamoci for this are we are doing imperative?
