and spammers on Duolingo.
I doubt any other course on this site will teach this (not even swedish, the language of many many internet trolls). super useful
Tell me more. Why are there more in Swedish?
Does troll sound weird in the context of internet to a native speaker?
It's like in English; it might sound strange to someone who didn't grow up with Internet culture, but anyone below 40 is likely to be familiar with the term.
50 to 60, even, in America.
I don't think it's an age thing; it's merely exposure to the term. I learned the term well after I knew of trolls in a different context, but it's still not weird to me.
I try not to annoy them but I always do for some reason.
Is the Norwegian as ambiguous as the English translation?
No, you'd have to rewrite it as "Jeg hater å irritere nettroll." for your meaning.
are internet trolls a fantasy- is in the fantasy section
Them being a fantasy has been a fantasy of mine for years.
(Sentences are tied to words, and the word "troll" is placed in the 'Fantasy' skill.)
Kan man si også 'Jeg hater å irritere nettroll'?
