Easier for Germans. "Hahn" is a rooster, "Huhn" is a hen in German.

Same thing with hans and henne. "Hans" is a male German Christian name and "Henne" is a German synonym for "Huhn" (female chicken)

Oh, this reminds me of how I annoy Star Wars fans who speak Norwegian:

  • Du veit Greedo fra Star Wars?
  • Ja?
  • Han skjøt først!

This is possibly the single greatest language-related pun I have ever seen. Then again, I am a massive nerd.

Have a lingot. :D

I came up with the Han Solo thing in my Norwegian class, and I didn't even know about this!
