"I am already able to hold a conversation in english" should be correct
What is the difference between conversa and conversação?
For what it's worth Ive been corrected by my Brazilian friends when I say, for example "Quero ter uma conversação" they always say it is better to use "quero ter uma conversa"
I have only heard "conversação" in language schools - I suppose it has to do with the English being "conversation".
Other than that, we ALWAYS use conversa.
What is wrong with "I can now hold a conversation in English"?
What´s wrong with "I already manage to hold a conversation in English"???
Is conversation "conversação" or "conversa"?
Conversa. "Conversação" is used in language schools.
