What is the diference between "bor" and "lever"?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/Karl_Dilkington

(Norwegian speakers, correct me if I'm wrong)

I think "å bo" specifically refers to living somewhere (e.g. jeg bor i Norge), whereas "å leve" can mean to live, to exist, to being, not being dead etc.

That's right.

Does it works like "leben" and "wohnen" in German?

Am I the only one who thinks English is more similar to Norwegian than German? Can anyone tell me why?

https://www.duolingo.com/profile/james788714

English shares sentence structure and syntax with north germanic languages (in fact the invading vikings in britain is where our syntax comes from) many people think english should be classified as a scandinavian (north germanic) language rather than west germanic due to the fact that it is easier for english speakers to pick up scandinavian languages than german or other west germanic languages.

Maybe you're biased?

That's not being biased. Biased is judging with only your opinion or unreliable sources as a source of information.

If I did, I wouldn't be wearing a tank top and shorts and still be boiling. I would be in socks, a sweatshirt and sweatpants and freezing.
