More French?

I am on the verge of completing my French course here and would love to see an expanded version or French 2.

Almost a year as the lessons that I had to review kept coming.

More lessons on Cela, Cela-lui, Ceci, etc and Ne pas <verb> vs Ne <verb> pas vs Pas <word> would be helpful. Also on Quelques vs Quelque. And tenses of course.

I'm looking forward for that too :)

I would very much like that too. Or at least more lessons in the existing French tree.

I think it would greatly benefit this website if the languages were expanded. There would be a lot more traffic on the site if expanded languages were offered. That would be awesome!!! :)

You know what else would greatly increase traffic to this site? (I'll give you a hint: It starts with "J" and ends with "apanese".)

Based off of the way the current languages are taught on this site, it would be hard to create a Japanese course unless they made a somewhat different system specifically for Japanese. You would probably also have to have a Japanese keyboard, or at least a Japanese for English keyboards thing set up. I wonder if they're actually working on it over in the incubator.

You're right; the format might need to be a bit different, but I'm sure it can be done! Just look at ChineseSkill; they basically took Duolingo's teaching style and fit it to Mandarin. If it can be done for Mandarin, it certainly can be done for Japanese! :)

Yeah. It would attract a lot more people to this site.

From what I have heard, Duo has expanded French recently. Someone said they added 50 lessons to the French tree, which has far more vocabulary than the Spanish tree. That said, I would not mind if they expanded it again. I'd especially like to see an update to the Spanish tree. My interest would be more vocabulary, and more phrases relevant to real life conversations.

Yeha they really need to expand the Spanish tree

I'm confused… Do they do already do this for other languages?

I don't think that they have Spanish 2 or 3, they would just add more lessons to the same tree. I think the existing French tree is missing lessons on tenses.

Exactly! Not enough tenses lessons

That is also what I need!

While I'm far from finishing my French tree, I'd suggest trying the English for French speakers course. Another thing I would suggest would be immersing yourself in the language, by, for example, using mainly French websites, or using websites like Facebook and Twitter in French, watching TV in French, reading books in French, and a bunch of other things... In French.
