A note on the Portuguese alphabet

Since Duolingo doesn't explicitly note this. The portuguese alphabet is similar to English except that although it contains(in some versions) the letters "k,y, and w", these letters are almost never used in actual portuguese words. The only words that may include them tend to be foreign or "borrowed" words.

As such, one can think of them as non-existent when writing "original" portuguese.
