"You do not belong in the streets" is a more natural way of saying this in English.

Are you sure "lugar" means that kind of "place"? From the other exercises I had inferred that it meant "a physical space", not "the correct place for something."

"Lugar" can also mean that kind of "place", yes. For example. It takes place in Mexico = tiene lugar en México.
